[A click is heard, because Arcueid is NOT missing that opportunity. Hell, give her about ten-twenty minutes and she'll show up at the house.]

[She waves a bit, sitting on the porch]

[One energetic wave later.]

"Are you the one who called asking for directions?"

"Yes."

[She nods, speaking in a rather dull tone]

[The dull tone's kinda' funny compared to Arc's sparkling one.]

So! Where's the cake?

[She points motions to follow her and goes into the kitchen, where there is a chocolate and raspberry death cake]

"The cake is there. Let me get you a plate and fork."

[Arc' follows obediently, staring at the cake curiously before plopping down, waiting for the plate and fork albeit the impatient look on her face.]

[Ruri hands a plate of chocolate cake to Arc]

"Are you new to the town?"

[She takes the plate and fork, nomming down on a quickly stabbed section of cake.]

"But you have friends here? That's very lucky."

Well, only one. I don't think anyone else is here.

[Another nom.]

"Still, its better than being alone, right?"

Yes, though I'm used to that regardless..

"Oh? I'm very sorry then. Being alone is.... Not good. Would you like more cake?"

[Still nommin', still nodding.]

I didn't think I'd ever meet someone as nice as Shiki.

"I'm happy for you that such a close friend is here. I hope you both can escape together."

Why would I want to escape?
