ARCUEID BRUNESTUD
Arcueid is very whimsical and quite childish. She spend most of her time asleep and her knowledge is primarily theoretical and artificial knowledge. Especially socializing appears to be a still quite undeveloped skill. Nonetheless, she is very friendly to most people and enjoys the company of others, which was hindered by her secluded life. On the other hand, she fears contact with humans, because she has to suppress her vampiric impulses and would hate to hurt humans. This makes her quite lonely, to some degree self-loathing and scared. Arcueid fought monsters that could rival beasts legends and displayed no sign of fear, but her greatest fear is to lose herself and hurt others. The princess is headstrong, but can be mistaken for a total airhead at times or eventually even stupid. This is far from the truth, but her lack of knowledge AND care for rules and norms of modern human life can affect her image and put her into a negative light. She is actually quite intelligent, and knows a lot about the world and its mysteries. The blond woman dislikes being called stupid or rejected and although she hosts a forgiving personality is quite merciless once angered.
Although she is stubborn and holds too much power for a still immature child, she can adapt and also listens to others once they have managed to get her attention. In most situations, she would just take a stroll, or play an observer, her primary interest is only the hunt for specific people and she would go through great ordeals to fulfill her task, but not include the sacrifice of cities. She is despite her origins of a cold hearted True Ancestor Weapon and Aristoteles very human in her behavior. Especially Shiki, and his closest friend manage to bring her out of her sacred shell, that she usually carries with her at all time. She still does not harbor much interest in human actions or their desires, and even her friends might have troubles to simply win her over for their own plans. Her character personification Phantasmoon is at all times very playful and enjoys spamming magical girl references with taunting frequency at her opponents and has most likely a high tendency to annoy others.
Earth or Gaia was unable to produce a self defense mechanism (Type) and the strongest creature it could bring forth was the Beast of Gaia. Holding the evil plan of gaining control over Earth, Crimson Moon, the Aristoteles of the Moon offered support and Copies were created. These Copies, named True Ancestors were supposed to become Gaia's self defense, but they were flawed and desired blood. They managed to suppress those urges in the
beginning, but more and more fell and began to drink indiscriminately becoming Demon Lords in the Process.
As they feared the ruin of their race, they created a weapon. The weapon was none other than Arcueid, the strongest True Ancestors of all. But she was only a tool and knew nothing other than killing and only the necessary was taught. She destroyed True Ancestors and their 'offspring' Dead Apostles, but went to sleep like an android to recharge after each mission and got her memory wiped clean. Unlike the others, the blonde executioner had no vampiric impulses, but the ignorance of her creators let to her and finally their fall. Clueless and ignorant, she was an easy and gullible target for a priest of the church and drank blood. She turned Berserk and killed most of the other True Ancestors, while Michael Roa Valdamjong, the treacherous priest in question used this chance and took some of her power, gaining immortality. After Arcueid regained her senses, she had to suppress her urges like the others, and put herself to sleep, only to awake in order to kill Dead Apostle Ancestors and mainly Roa, who had stolen her powers. During her sleep the DAA and Roa turned the hunt for the last surviving True Ancestors into a sport and removed the last of them from the World. But Arcueid, despite her dwindle in power was still more than enough to kill the vampires. Yet, not all battles were victories. She was used to be over-powerful and naive, unable to estimate that someone could come close to her lowered power and so she also lost another part of her hair and power in a battle against the Princess of the Dead Apostles, Altrouge, another heir of the Title Brunestud.
Seeking out the priest and wishing to finally put an end to his existence once and for all, she only awakens in a time of need or to slay the treacherous priest and lives solely for the destruction of Roa. His power based on reincarnation impossible to kill, made it a sheer impossible task. Other DAAs and monstrosities only a secondary objective, she still managed to reduce the list quite splendidly, yet the world is full of beings that can take their spots. But fate seemed to have more than just harsh slaps to her ego and power available and during one hunt, not only gave her a portion of her freedom, but also a wonderful friend and ally. Roa was killed, once and for all. This was the begin of her longer stay on earth, not fearing contact with humans as much as she did before, and growing more conscious and wary of the darkness in human society and the world, as well as threats that don't all just stem forth from the seed of the Crimson Moon.
